You’ve done it.
You’ve taken the first—and the most difficult—step to feeling better.
You’re here because you’ve mustered up the strength and courage to take a step towards
improving your life.
Whether you’re struggling with self doubt, depression, or parenting, I will meet you where you are and provide a safe, non-judgmental space to begin your journey.
Hi! My name is Kerry, and I look forward to meeting you!
I have experience working with all ages and view my work through a trauma-informed lens. Our past shapes us; how we view the world around us, how we interact with others, and even how we view ourselves. We often don’t realize how the patterns in our lives lead to feelings of anxiety, depression, and low self-worth.
As a parent, these patterns can be amplified when we also feel that our children are struggling. We pictured the perfect parenting scenario. We took the mistakes our parents made, all the things we wished we’d had, and promised that we would be different. We showered our child with love and understanding, and everything was going great…until it wasn’t. Now we don’t know what went wrong. Is the problem me? Is the problem my child? Is it neither?
Little ones don’t always know how to express their big feelings, resulting in conflicts with their peers, teachers, siblings, and even those who are trying to help them the most…their parents. Our changing world can be daunting for children. They are still learning about the world around them—how it works, their place in it, and how it makes them feel. Seeking additional support for your child can help them cope with their environment, navigate potential mental health concerns, and help them manage their emotions. When working with your child, I will give them an outlet for their emotions, help them identify their strengths, build their confidence, and teach them skills that will help them navigate their world.
