Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, boundaries, or communication skills? Has an affair or substance abuse broken your trust in your partner or spouse? These challenges can be difficult to navigate on your own which is why counseling can be a good place to learn more about yourself and your relationship.
Starting out in therapy can be difficult and I understand that. I aim to create a safe and comfortable environment in which you can feel safe to speak freely, without being judged. You will be treated with utmost respect, sensitivity, and compassion, regardless of what you are seeking counseling for. I view therapy as a collaborative approach in which I offer support along your journey to optimal well being. My counseling style is warm, directive, and collaborative.
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, Gottman Method, DBT, and emotional-focused counseling
. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Your feedback during the therapeutic process is welcomed and encouraged and helps me to meet your needs as best as possible.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to help you make steps towards the change you want in your life and to support you in those decisions.
I look forward to working with you!
